Grimme, a German manufacturer of a full line of potato, beet and vegetable technology, has announced a joint venture to develop and sell potato technology and other root vegetables in India.
Together with Shaktiman Agro Grimme, he will create a joint venture of 50-60 people in the world's second largest potato-producing country for technological cooperation and marketing the entire range of potato machines.
Machines will be sold and serviced through the well-developed Shaktiman dealer network in India. In the near future, Shaktiman and GRIMME will also share their technological platforms for developing machines for other root crops, such as onions, ginger, turmeric, etc.
The joint venture will use German technology from Grimme and Shaktiman's modern manufacturing capabilities to design and develop complete solutions for potatoes and other root crops.
