Employees of the State Food and Beverage Service conduct ongoing phytosanitary surveillance of sugar beet crops in Ukrainian farms. As of June 27 this year, they found that 10% of beet crops were inhabited by leaf aphids.
In the crops of sugar beet in the fields of the country leaf aphid settled. It is found in 4-10% of plants, mainly along the edges of the plots.
In some areas of the central regions, beets were massively populated and damaged by beet mining flies and shield insects, the State Food and Consumer Service said.Leaf aphid
It was also noted that the amaranth stalker continues to feed on the fields in the Poltava region. In addition, lesions were identified by leaf-eating and gnawing scoops.

In crops of sugar beet, a defeat by peronosporosis was revealed, the manifestation of root rot was noted focally.
On the territory of Cherkasy and Khmelnitsky regions, cercosporosis covered up to 3% of plants in 13-25% of the sown area.
Stalked
Up to 1% of plants were affected by phomosis in 3% of all studied areas. Farmers are struggling with diseases that are approved for use by drugs.
