On the territory of the Krasnodar Territory, the harvesting campaign in the fields with grain and leguminous crops is coming to a successful conclusion.
Having reached the finish line, local farmers managed to collect more than ten million one hundred thousand tons of grain over the course of a common season. As a result, the average yield in the region amounted to about sixty one centner per hectare.
Such information was shared by representatives of the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. In addition, the department hastened to add that over the entire period of the harvesting campaign, over two thousand combines worked on the fields of the Krasnodar Territory.
Together, Krasnodar agrarians managed to collect more than eight million seven hundred thousand tons of wheat, and the yield of grain peas exceeded two hundred eighteen thousand tons.
The oat index in the current season is about thirteen thousand tons, and the share of winter rape in the total volume of the Krasnodar harvest is fifty-three thousand eight hundred tons. If we talk about the harvest of winter barley and wheat, then their volumes are one hundred six thousand nine hundred tons and three and a half thousand tons, respectively.
Kuban farmers proudly note that this year the quality of the harvested grain harvest is much higher than a year earlier.
This year, farmers of the Timashevsky, Novokubansky and Tbilisi districts are deservedly considered the leaders of the harvesting process.
