Leading analysts of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea conducted a thorough study of export statistics of the region in 2019.
As a result, experts came to the conclusion that sales to the foreign market of farm products manufactured by the Crimean agrarians turned out to be one hundred seventy-six percent higher than forecasted.
This information was shared with the general public by the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture. In addition, the department emphasized that the statistics of export deliveries from January 1 of the current year to July 4 were analyzed.
In the process of analytics, the data of both own production and transshipment were taken into account. As a result, according to experts, the turnover amounted to more than seven million US dollars. This suggests that the planned annual rate is exceeded by seventy-six percent.
The head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Crimean Peninsula, Andrei Ryumshin, hastened to add that the region intended to increase such volumes at least by 2024.
However, now, given the pace of agricultural production in the republic, the plan should be reviewed, which was approved in June this year.
