From tomorrow, August 1, 2019, residents of the Russian Federation will be able to apply for a free land plot, the size of which is one hectare.
Gratuitous lands are located in the vast Trans-Baikal Territory, as well as in the Republic of Buryatia. The main condition for the participants is to convince the founders of the project that they are the most worthy candidates for receiving a “hectare”.
It is noteworthy that distributing the Trans-Baikal and Buryat “hectares” will be in several approaches. The first stage involves obtaining land only by those citizens of the Russian Federation who are registered in the Trans-Baikal Territory or in the Republic of Buryatia. This stage will last until February 1, 2020.
The second stage, which expires on August 1, 2020, involves receiving applications from those citizens of the Russian Federation who are registered in such regions of the country as Yakutia, the Jewish Autonomous Region, Primorsky, Kamchatka, Khabarovsk Territories, as well as the Amur Region, Sakhalin, Magadan and Chukotka Autonomous Okrug.
At the end of the second stage, applications for land in Buryatia and Transbaikalia can also be submitted by those citizens who have arrived for permanent residence in the Russian Federation from other countries.
In other words, the authorities of Transbaikalia and Buryatia intend to use “hectares” to attract as many citizens as possible ready to raise the agriculture and economy of the regions in which there is a tendency for the outflow of the population to a qualitatively new level.
