The garlic festival is held annually in the village of Pesets in the Novoushytsky district of the Khmelnitsky region. It is in this locality that is almost the best base for growing seed garlic. For the third time in August, scientists, producers, breeders and all who are interested in garlic in one way or another will come to the Arctic fox.

This year the festival will be held on Saturday, August 17th. As one of the organizers, the chairman of the Association of Garlic Producers Vladimir Vlasenko, said, the program will include both serious blocks and entertainment.

First, a round table will be held at which participants will discuss the main directions of development of the industry, successes, opportunities and challenges in growing garlic.

By tradition, it will not do without a star. Last years, by the way, the audience was entertained by the Lisapet Battalion group, local and amateur groups invited from neighboring regions. There were entertainment for children, a food area and even interesting goodies made from garlic.

“We are currently working on the organization of the festival and do not yet have a complete program, or all the details. But we invite everyone who is interested in the topic of growing garlic.

Believe me, you will not regret it, because this is a really promising direction, ”says Vladimir Vlasenko. Recall that the garlic festival was held for the first time in 2017.
