On the fact of the mass death of bees in the Rivne, Goshchansky and Koretsky districts of the Rivne region, a pre-trial investigation is underway under Art. This is notified by the police communications department in the Rivne region.

Local residents filed complaints with the police, in particular, beekeepers from three districts of the Rivne region. They complain about private agricultural companies that process the fields with pesticides.

According to the complainants, this fact is the reason for the annual death of bee colonies and the deterioration of well-being of residents of neighboring settlements that are adjacent to the cultivated fields.

At the moment, a series of examinations has been appointed by investigators of the territorial police departments, according to the results of which procedural decisions will be made in open criminal cases.

We will remind that recently apiaries of Victor Volovy village of Novogrigoryevka of the Vitovsky district of the Nikolaev area suffered from uncontrolled field treatment with plant protection products. Due to chemical poisoning at the beekeeper, 25 bee families died immediately. Only 5 bee families remained on the farm.
