According to the State Fiscal Service, as of May 17 this year, the volume of grain exports from Ukraine amounted to 44.57 million tons. This is almost 20.1% or 9 million tons more than in the same period of the previous year, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and food of Ukraine.

The volume of export deliveries of wheat since the beginning of this season has decreased by 7.9%, which is 14.6 million tons, barley supplies decreased by 22.5% to 3.4 million tons.

Significantly increased volumes of corn exports, when compared with last season. They increased by 66.8% and amounted to 25.8 million tons against 15.5 million tons for the same period of 2017/18 MY. As of May 17, 2019, rye export deliveries amounted to 88.2 thousand tons, exceeding the past indicator. season 2.4 times.

The export of flour from Ukraine was significantly reduced. Its volumes decreased by 34.7% (or 136.7 thousand tons) and amounted to 256.8 thousand tons. In the previous season, Ukrainian producers shipped 393.5 thousand tons of flour to the world market.
