Breeders of the Primorsky Territory have already managed not only to create, but also to patent a new species of bees, which they called "Far Eastern".

The uniqueness of these insects lies in the fact that Far Eastern bees, unlike their predecessors, are characterized by increased resistance to low air temperatures. At the same time, the character of the new breed of bees is quite peaceful and not harmful. And the incredible melliferousness impresses even the most experienced beekeepers - bees give 30% more honey than representatives of unselected breeds.

According to the staff of the beekeeping laboratory of the Federal Scientific Center for Agrobiotechnologies of the Far East named after A.K. Seagulls Maxim Sharov, where new bees were bred, “Far Eastern” workaholics have high wax productivity and are adapted to the difficult and variable climatic conditions of the East Russian climate.

“And these bees have an increased instinct for preserving families,” the developers of the new breed proudly conclude.
