Almost all the horses owned by Russian horse breeders came to Russia from abroad or were born to imported mares. Most of them have the features of their foreign ancestors. However, in combination with the genes of Russian trotters, with which Russian breeders actively “combine” imported horses, horses with unique traits and level of endurance are obtained.
