Kherson agrarians continue to calculate the losses caused by fire. Due to a violation of elementary safety regulations, the fields burn out at the root.

So, in anticipation of the harvest, wheat crops burned in two fields of 4.7 and 4.8 hectares near the villages of Tomina Balka and Kizomys, Belozersky district.

In one case, the ignition of the field arose from a spark that flew out of the combine in a malfunctioning state. The second fire was caused by a discarded cigarette butt, which fell into uncultivated crops from the road.

Fires in the fields of the Kherson region continue. So, 3 hectares of barley was lost due to a fire on the field in the Kakhovskoy area, as reported by employees of the State Emergency Service of the Kherson region. If this situation persists, then there will be nothing to remove from the fields.

Earlier it was reported that in the Vitovsky district of the Nikolaev area 23 ha of barley perished in the fire. A wheat field broke out in the Melitopol district of the Zaporizhzhya region. A standing fire destroyed 15 hectares of wheat.

And in the Odessa region, 80 hectares of rapeseed were saved from fire. Ignition of dry grass on the side of the highway in the Razdelnyansky district could move to a rape field. But timely and coordinated actions of rescuers prevented a fire.
