The season of ground tomatoes has already begun. Despite the fact that the heat has adjusted the producers at the time of collection, the price transition in the coming weeks may become painful for trading companies, because now the price of tomatoes ranges from 28 to 45 UAH / kg.

Soil tomato last year and a few years ago, started from 12-15 UAH, and at the peak of sales reached 3-5 UAH / kg.

Consequently, producers and exporters, who will now switch to export and find a “golden mean” in the sale of tomatoes, can not only survive on the market and survive the period of soil tomato, but also systematically work on international markets.

It is also very important, during this period, to show flexibility in the pricing system, because the market reacts very quickly to consumer demand and if the price is not changed on time, the consumer simply will not buy.

As of July 8, tomato prices, as before, have steadily kept the bar at 30 UAH / kg and have not been dropping for several weeks (there are offers of expensive tomatoes of other varieties), however, you need to prepare for the unpaved season today.
