Between January 1 and August 1, 2019, the production rate of animals such as pigs increased significantly in the Russian Federation. We are talking about pigs in live weight produced for slaughter.

The growth rate in comparison with the same period last year exceeds five percent, which puts domestic pig producers in a plus of one hundred nineteen thousand eight hundred tons.

In other words, in the first seven months of this year, according to statistics experts at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the volume of products released for sale is equal to two million four hundred forty thousand tons of pork in live weight.

Based on the information provided by the domestic Ministry of Agriculture, the leaders in the production of the products in question, we can rightfully consider the highly productive enterprises of the Belgorod and Pskov regions.

Efficient manufacturers from the Voronezh and Kursk regions, as well as companies from the Lipetsk region and the Krasnodar Territory, are not far behind their colleagues.

Market analysts predict that the volume of external shipments of Russian pork to the world market this year will increase by at least twenty percent. As a result, the sales figure will exceed the mark of one hundred thousand tons.
