In the territory of the Smolensk region, from January 1 to July 1, 2019, cows, which are part of the assets of local agricultural producers and farmers, showed excellent productivity results.
So, on average, each Smolensk burenka for the first half of the current year produced about two thousand two hundred and eighty kilograms of milk.
Such information was shared with the general public by the press center of the Federal State Statistics Service for the Smolensk region.
It is noteworthy that the rates of milk production in the region for the reporting period are four tenths of a percent higher than those that were recorded in the first half of last year, 2019.
It should be noted that in the Smolensk region, mainly nine municipal districts are engaged in dairy production. It will not be superfluous to add that the high quality of Smolensk milk suits not only domestic consumers, but also foreign specialists.
An additional confirmation of this was the visit of the Vietnamese delegation to the region in June this year. In the framework of the meeting with Russian agricultural producers and distributors, the Vietnamese expressed their admiration for the milk of Smolensk production and noted that they would gladly import such a product to the trading shelves of their country.
